Baseball.

My trajectory

Some of my earliest memories are of turning our living room into a baseball field, with painter's tape marking the bases and the stairs acting as the outfield fence. Since then, the game has taken me all over the country and given me the chance to play on great teams alongside great teammates. My love for baseball has never changed, but my high-school experience has tested it.

I am young for my grade and only recently entered my primary growth spurt. During my eighth-, ninth-, and tenth-grade seasons, I fell behind physically as many of my peers became faster, stronger, and more powerful, and I lost playing time. Over the past year, that has finally begun to change. I have grown to 6'3" and added 25 pounds while remaining very lean—and I am still growing. My fastball now reaches the upper 80s, and I have begun driving balls over the fence. I have committed to training at Driveline for the upcoming season, with a focus on becoming stronger and more explosive as both a pitcher and hitter. I am excited to keep working toward my goal of playing college baseball and find out where my ceiling really is.

Looking ahead

Building toward next season.

After adding four inches and 25 pounds since last season—including another inch in the past three months—I'm focused on translating that continued growth into strength, velocity, and more repeatable mechanics.
